Calling all GPs…… New app ‘GPDQ’ aims to deliver doctors to doors within 60 minutes

From today, GPs across the UK can register their interest to join a new mobile app, GPDQ (GP Delivered Quickly) – designed to give GPs the flexibility of a virtual clinic, whilst delivering top-quality clinical care on-demand, at a location of the patient’s choice.

The GPDQ app will launch in central London this autumn, enabling patients to arrange a visit with a GP, at a convenient location for them.

The app’s co-founder, Dr Anshumen Bhagat has built a portfolio of private and NHS clinics in London during his 15 years’ experience in the healthcare industry. Dr Bhagat comments on the launch of the new service: “GPDQ provides another option for patients who want to see a doctor when it suits them – it really is that simple.  It also enables all GPs in the UK to see patients on a private basis, work flexibly, and earn extra income in the process – they’re essentially running a virtual clinic through our state of the art mobile platform.

“After many years of working in general practice, I’ve had time to identify the issues and work out a sensible and effective solution using state of the art technology. It’s a great way for busy people who are time poor to access an affordable high quality service that can deliver a doctor to their office, or anywhere that is convenient for them.”

GPDQ is set to launch for patient use in central London (Zones 1-3) this autumn on iOS and android, the app will be rolled out to Greater London, followed by other major cities in the forthcoming months.

GPs can register their interest in the GPDQ service here and find GPDQ on LinkedIn.
