Woto employs Sense to help them Whirl around the World

New British owned social publishing space, Woto.com, has appointed BPro™ Agency – Sense, to support its public launch and ambition to attract 100 million quality users by 2020.

Woto is a new type of social publishing solution that sits in the middle ground between Facebook, Twitter, blogs and websites. Woto combines the simplicity and intuitiveness of MS Word, with the immediacy of a social post, and the functionality of a website builder.

Woto is so simple to use, anyone can create a page and publish to the web in just three clicks. Users can create anything they want using a blank canvas or template. And best of all, it’s free.

Sense has been selected to support Woto because of its innovative approach, broad technology experience and passion for supporting the growth of British start-ups. The Sense team will manage all proactive and reactive public relations and communications activities to support Woto’s worldwide growth objectives.

Woto CEO and Co-Founder – Ian Collins commented on the appointment: “We looked at what felt like dozens of PR agencies, searching for a hunger; a desire to be exceptional, not just to succeed, and a willingness to try new things and be really creative.  Sense took the time to qualify, gain knowledge, work things through and come up with a very plausible proposal even at a time when they knew the same or less than some of the other companies. This made Sense stand out and we are very confident they will help us get Woto whirling around the world.”

Woto CTO and Co-Founder – Ekin Caglar added: “Sense’s BPro™ approach appealed to us because of its ability to demonstrate some of the real value behind their campaigns – something other PR companies struggled with. We believe we can work with Sense to come up with a method to further quantify their campaign impact by utilising existing hard-data. Together, we are unstoppable.”

The team has already received impressive support from three major investors - Ingenious Ventures, Galata Business Angels, and Bartle Bogle Hegarty’s venture arm, Zag. Woto will be using this investment to help it launch with a bang into the mainstream at the beginning of 2015.

Lisa Malyon, Managing Director of Sense is delighted to be appointed: “As Brand Protagonists, Sense is delighted to get behind Woto and is determined to get it whirling worldwide. Woto bridges a major gap in the online publishing space, and we love that it is encouraging people to start sharing more meaningful content online.”
